The first day of school is the first day of an academic year. This is usually in March, April or June. My first day at school was a memorable experience. I still remember that day when I wad 4 years old and I was admitted to JR.KG. My mother accompanied me on the first day. Other parents accompanied their children as well. When I entered my classroom all the students came running and asked my name. I saw some of he students crying and some of them playing. The teacher entered the classroom an we all stood up and wished good afternoon miss, than we sat again. We introduced ourselves one after the other to our teacher. Later at the mid break we all removed ojr tifin and ate the snacks given to us. Some of the students became my friends. Later the school bell rang and the school got over. All my friends and I said good bye to each othe and went home happily.

How are you and your parents? I was just waiting to write a letter to you and now I've got a chance. Do you know that I recieved a prize at my school for essay writing. My topic was 'Save girl child'. The gudges of the competition liked my written essay and gave me the first prize for it.
I was given the prize on the stage during a prize ceremony in my school. All the students clapped for me and my principal and teachers were very proud of me as it was an interschool competition in which I won. Even my parents are very proud of me. My class teacher has selected me for the zonal level competion which is going to be held after two weeks.
