1. Read the paragraph carefully and answer the following question.

Sneha was studying in her room when she got disturbed by the

annoying sound made on a loudspeaker outside. She saw her

grandfather, a heart patient, in discomfort too by the noise. She

went to the people using the loudspeaker, asked them to slow it down

and explain to them the health hazards linked to the noise.

1. What are the ill effects of the noise on a heart patient?

Answer: Epidemiological studies show that noise raises the risk of cardiovascular diseases such as hypertension, coronary heart diseases, myocardial infraction, heart failure and stroke. Also noise can cause a physical disruption of the plaque, leading to cardiovascular diseases it also include chronic syndrome.

2. What values were displayed by Sneha?

Answer: The values of Sneha are- she is caring as she cares for her grandfather, that is why she went to the people using loudspeaker to tell them to slow down the noise. She is kind, she can feel the tension of her grandfather. She is expressive, she has express her point of view to the people nicely. She have also tell them the ill effects of noise.

3. What measures can be taken to prevent the noise pollution?​

Answer: There are many ways in which we can prevent noise such as- turn off the appliances at home and at offices, always shut the door when using any noisy machine in this way little noise will go outside, use earplugs, lower the volume, always follow the limit of noise, go green by planting tress. establishing non- honking zone.
