But now does one watch animals in darkness? What are the techniques for
observing and talking pictures of animals at night? Any bright light will scare away
the animals. Here scientists take advantage of the fact that most animals are blind to
red light. They, therefore, use a torch with a red mask. Infrared telescopes have also
been used to observe animals at night.
