Politics has now become a chess board on which political parties are playing a game of power and managing the show through their clever moves. They care for their own interests and not for the national interest. They politicize every minor or major incident in their own interest and colour it as it suits their ideology and leads to immediate gains. This creates a gap between the Government and the people. This also hampers the smooth functioning of the administration. Most of the issues are created just to secure and consolidate vote-banks. The Mandal Commission and Ram Mandir issues were raised for this purpose. All these gimmicks aim at capturing the vote-banks of different sections of our society. In the light of these facts, we may safely conclude that no political party in the country actually cares for national interest. They safeguard their own interest by giving a political colour to different issues and incidents.
