The Mandal Commission and Ram Mandir issues were raised for this purpose. All these gimmicks aim at capturing the vote-banks of different sections of our society. In the light of these facts, we may safely conclude that no political party in the country actually cares for national interest. They safeguard their own interest by giving a political colour to different issues and incidents.
