Answer:

So busy in our lives we nearly forget about our parents when we grow up. While growing up we come across our responsibilities but when we leave our parents our responsibility in old age homes we have literally failed in life. Last Sunday I visited an old age home near my area because while playing cricket our ball had escaped our road and while searching that we had to walk all our way to the old age home where me and my friends almost spotted the ball. When we entered the home we were all welcomed and treated with utmost love and respect. We were offered food and hence we decided that we should stay there for a while. We instantly connected and we spoke about all the experiences we were facing in every day life. I didnt know the time when I last felt so lively with any stranger but the awesome people there were the best. We all had shared our school fun and few spoke about how they felt bad when they were dropped to this place just because they couldn't take care of themselves. Few didn't even speak on this topic but I guess they were just very good at hiding their pain. It was getting darker and hence we had to leave. When we were leaving all the grandmothers requested us to come visit them whenever we had time as they felt that we were like their grandchildren whom they would see sometimes only.

I came back home and hugged my mother and made a promise to myself that I wont ever leave my parents elsewhere. When I was small and unable to walk they helped me and when I grew up and they came back to their second childhood i.e old age it was my duty to help them and in this way I could just pay back a little price they had bestowed me with. Parents belong to us and not to the owners of the old age homes. You have failed in life if you were unable to stand by your parents in their tough times the wealth is of no use if so.
