• Used in shaving mirrors

• Used in Head Mirrors

• Used in Opthalmoscope

• Used in Solar Cookers.

3) The lens can be differentiated by seeing the type of image formed by the lens:

• The concave lens will always produce virtual image of the newspaper irrespective of its position.

• But, convex lens will only produce virtual image of the newspaper if kept very close to the newspaper.
