When connected in series:

Rt = R1 + R2 + R3

= 10 +20 +30 ohm

= 60 ohm

Therefore, the effective resistance when they are connected in series is 60 ohm.

Also, V = 6

To find = I (current)

We know => V = IR

=> I = V/R

=> I = 6/60

=> I = 0.1

Therefore, the current flowing when the combination is connected to a 6V battery is

0.1 A (ampere)
