(1)Women of Gujarat especially Anganwadiwomen have played a major role in shaping the society. They have worked hard towards the "empowerment" of themselves and their villages as well. Earlier none knew who the anganwadi women were but now with their outstanding work towards the "betterment" of their village especially women they are the talk of the moment. Recently "Prime minister of India", "Shri Narendra Singh Modi" gave recognition award namely yashodaraaward to the anganwadi women for their immense contribution in the "development of Gujarat".

(2) Religious place of importance in Gujarat are: Swaminarayan Akshadham temple, Dwarakadish temple, somnath temple, kirti mandir dedicated to Kasturba Gandhi, surya temple, Champaner Jain temples, Kalika Mata temple, Rukmini Devi temple.
