Given, secA−tanA1−cosA1=cosA1−secA+tanA1

or   secA−tanA1+secA+tanA1=cosA1+cosA1

Here, R.H.S.=cosA2

Now, 

L.H.S.=secA−tanA1+secA+tanA1=(secA−tanA)(secA+tanA)secA+tanA+secA−tanA=cosA2

Thus, L.H.S.=R.H.s
