vaibhavlspise2001: ethyl contain more no. of carbon than methy so we have give 1 priority to Ethyl thats why starts numbering from ethyl

B)1-Ethyl-3,4-dimethyl cyclopentane

It's bcuz we follow alphabetical order when there are one or more substituents and give the smallest number to it.
