Answer:

Given :-

  • Shakil and Mohuya jointly started a business with capital of Rs 30000 and Rs. 50000 respectively. After 6 month Shakil invested Rs. 40000 more in a business, but Mohuya withdraw Rs. 10000 for personal need. If the profit amount is Rs. 19000 at the end of year.

Find Out :-

  • Share of profit each of them should get.

Solution :-

Ratio of principal,

(30000 × 12 + 40000 × 6) : (50000 × 12 - 10000 × 6)

(360000 + 240000) : (600000 - 60000)

600000 : 540000

60 : 54

10 : 9

Total profit = Rs 19000

Shakil gets,

Rs \dfrac{10}{19} \times Rs 19000

Rs 10000

Mahuya gets,

Rs \dfrac{9}{19} \times Rs 19000

Rs 9000

The share of profit of Shakil gets Rs 10000 and Mahuya gets Rs 9000.
