Heya!❤️

Question 1 :

Show that a-b is not equal to b-a.. a=-16/15 b=10/22

Solution 1 :

Given a = -16/15

Given b = 10/22

a - b

 \frac{ - 16}{15}  -  \frac{10}{22}

 \frac{ - 352 - 150}{330 }

 \frac{ - 502}{330}

Now to show b - a

b - a

 \frac{10}{22}  - ( \frac{ - 16}{15} )

 \frac{10}{22}  +  \frac{16}{15}

 \frac{150 + 352}{330}

 \frac{502}{330}

So it is proved that a-b is not equal to b -a

Question 2 :

Simplify -7/10 -(-6/15)

Solution:

 \frac{ - 7}{10}  - ( \frac{ - 6}{15} )

 \frac{ - 7}{10}  +  \frac{6}{15}

 \frac{ - 21 + 12}{30}

 \frac{ - 9}{30}

 \frac{ - 3}{10}

Hope this helps
