let hypotenuse is smaller than perpendicular then

Sin of the angle will be perpedicular/hypotenuse

this implies that numerator is larger than denominator thus it will be greater than 1

but Sin of any angle can not be greater than 1. so it contradicts our assumption thus hypotenuse of right angled triangle cannot be smaller than any of the other side
