1) 11/4 + 4/3 - 9/8 [LCM of 4,3,8 = 24)

= 66+32-27/24

= 71/24

= 2whole23/24

2) [LCM of 2,3,8,4 = 24]

= 1/2 * 12 = 12/24

= 2/3 * 8 = 16/24

= 5/8 * 3 = 15/24

= 3/4 * 6 = 18/24

So, 18/24 > 16/24 > 15/24 > 12/24

therefore, 3/4 > 2/3 > 5/8 > 1/2
