1+ sin/ 1- sin = sec + tan

L.H.S,

1+ sin/ 1- sin

Now,

Rationalise 1+ sin/1- sin

= 1+ sin/1-sin × 1+sin/ 1+sin

= 1^2+ sin^2/ 1-sin.1+sin

= 1+ sin^2/ 1^2 - sin^2

[Since, denominator is (a+b)(a-b) = a^2 - b^2 formula]

= 1+ sin^2/ 1- sin^2

= 1+ sin^2/ cos^2

= (1+ sin/ cos)^2

= 1+ sin/ cos [Since, cancelation for square and root]

Now,

= 1/cos + sin/cos

= sec + tan

=R.H.S
