Step-by-step explanation:

 \sqrt{1 -  { \sin }^{2} \theta }  =  \cos\theta

We know that

 { \sin}^{2} \theta +  { \cos}^{2}\theta = 1

  { \cos}^{2}\theta = 1  - { \sin}^{2} \theta

Taking L.H.S

 \sqrt{1 -  { \sin }^{2} \theta }

 \sqrt{{  \cos }^{2} \theta}

{{  \cos }\theta}

L.H.S = R.H.S

Hence proved
