1-sinФ/1+sinФ = secФ-tanФ
taking lhs
=1-sinФ/1+sinФ
squaring on both sides
=1-sinФ/1-sinФ × 1-sinФ/1-sinФ
=(1-sinФ)²/1-sin²Ф
=(1-sinФ)²/cos²Ф
=(1/cosФ-sinФ/cosФ)²
=(secФ-tanФ)²
