= 1 + sin²∅ + 2sin∅ + Cos²∅/Cos∅(1+sin∅)

[Sin²∅+Cos²∅ = 1]

= 1+1+2Sin∅/Cos∅(1+sin∅)

= 2+2sin∅/Cos∅(1+sin∅)

Taking 2 as common

= 2(1+sin∅)/Cos∅(1+sin∅)

Sin∅ got cancelled as they are in fraction...

= 2 × 1/Cos∅

= 2Sec
