Solution :-
Q : (1 + sinA)² + (1 - cosA)² = 3 + 2(sinA - cosA)
Considering L.H.S :
(1 + sinA)² + (1 - cosA)²
= 1 + sin²A + 2sinA + 1 + cos²A - 2cosA
= 2 + sin²A + 2sinA + (1 - Sin²A) - 2cosA
= 2 + sin²A + 2sinA + 1 - sin²A - 2cosA
= 3 + 2(sinA - cosA) = R.H.S
Hence, proved
