Mexico Got independence in 1930 and has been ruled by the same party PRI (Institutional Revolutionary Party) till date. Even though, It's not under a military or dictator's rule but still it's not a democratic country. It is because of unfair means used by PRI to win the elections every elections.

We know that One of the features of democracy is:

\large{ \rm{\underline{\oplus{ \green{ \:Free \: and \: fair \: elections \: for \: choosing \: representative}}}}}

But in Mexico, The party uses dirty methods like shifting of polling booths in the last minute. They force people to vote for this party only. And also, we can say that PRI had also mastered in political system and thus, know the weakness of other parties.

✏So we can say that, methods being used by PRI is undemocratic although officially it's democratic nation.
