LHS:-

(a+b)(a-b) =a^2 -b^2

Hence,

(1+sinO)(1-sinO) =1 - sin^2O

Thus, 1 - sin^2O = cos^2O

RHS:-

1/sec^2O = cos^2O as 1/secO = cosO
