Let

2x-3y=6___(1)

x+y=1____(2)

Using Elimination Method,

2x-3y=6___(1)×1

x+y=1____(2)×2

______________

2x-3y=6

2x+2y=2

_. _. _

_______

y=4

y=4.

Putting y = 4 in eqⁿ (2) x+y=1

x+4=1

x=1-4

x=-3.

x=-3.

Hence,

Answer:

The given equations ar

2x-3y=6(0)

x+y=1 (1)

Putting x = 0 in equation () weget

2×0-3y=6

y=-2

x = 0, y = -2

Putting y = 0 in equation (i) we get

⇒2r-3x0=6

=> x= 3

x = 3, y =0
