 {sin}^{2} 60 + 2 \tan \: 45 - {cos}^{2}30

Therefore,

(sin 60 =(√3/2)

tan 45 = 1

cos 30 =(√3/2))

Now, by substituting the values

(√3/2)² + 2(1) - (√3/2)

3/4+2 - 3/4

= 2

So, the value of Sin² 60°+2 tan 45°-cos² 30° is 2.
