1. Solve by elimination method
x+4/y=9
2x-6/y=11​

Answer:

 x + 4/y = 9

multiply this equation by 2

2x + 8/y = 18 ------------------(i)

2x - 6/y = 11 ------------------(ii)

substract (ii) from (i)

2x + 8/y = 18

2x - 6/y = 11

-------------------

       14/y = 7

thus, 14 = 7y

        y = 2
