$log( \frac{2(x + 3)}{3x - 5} ) = log(3) \\ \frac{2x + 6}{3x - 5} = 3 \\ 2x + 6 = 9x - 15 \\ 2x - 9x = - 15 - 6 \\ - 7x = - 21 \\ x = 3$
