Answer:

2x-3y=9

2x+y=13

subtracting,

-3y-y=9-13

=> -4y= -4

=> y= -4/-4

=> y=1

putting the value of y=1 in the 1st equation

2x-3.1=9

=> 2x=9+3

=> 2x=12

=> x=12/2

=> x=6

so , x=6

y=1

Answer:

x=6,y=1

Step-by-step explanation:

2x-3y=9 ----(1)

2x+y=13 ----(2)

multiply eq(2) by 3

6x+3y=39 ------(3)

add eq(3) and eq(1)

8x=48

x=6

put value of x=6 in eq(1)

2(6)+y=13

12+y=13

y=1
