Solve the equations x + 2y = 6 and 2x - 5y = 12 graphically​

Answer:

x = 6 - 2y

y = y = 6-x / 2

On substituting the x value in 1st equation we get :-

2 (6 - 2y) + 2y = 6

12 - 4y + 2y = 6

12 - 2y = 6

-2y = -6

y = 3.

On substituting the y value in the 2nd equation

2x - 5(3) = 12

2x - 15 = 12

2x = -3

x = -3 / 2
