Q.1) Solution:- 3x - y = 7---------equation (I)

x + 4y =11---------equation (ii)

Now ,we have to multiply by 4 to equ.(I)

4(3x-y) = 7×4

12x -4y = 28

now,we have to add both the equations.

12x -4y = 28

x + 4y = 11

____________

13x = 39 , so, x= 3

now ,we put the value of x in equ. (I)

x + 4y = 11

3 + 4y = 11

so, 4y = 11- 3

so, 4y = 8

so, y = 2
