some difference betweeen clinical and laboratory thermometer are:

Clinical thermometer: 1. It is used to measure the temperature of human body.

2. It has a kink which prevents immediate flow of mercury.

Laboratory thermometer: 1. It is used to measure the temperature in the laboratory.

2. It do not have a kink.

Some similarities between clinical and laboratory thermometer are:

1. They both are made of glass and consists of long narrow glass tube.

2. Bulbs of both thermometers consist mercury.
