1)The exact location or position of stomata is different from plant to plant and they are found on the epidermis of leaves. Stomata are found on either both sides or on just one side of the leaf.
2)Lenticels are found as raised circular, oval, or elongated areas on stems and roots. They occur in almost all types of phellem containing organs including stem, root, potato tuber etc. They are slightly raised spots on the surface of stem. In woody plants, lenticels commonly appear as rough, cork-like structures on young branches. Underneath them, porous tissue creates a number of large intercellular spaces between cells.
