Answer:

1.A- Two causes of volcanic eruption are:-

  • Volcanoes are formed by eruption of lava and ash when magma rises through crack and weak spots in earth crust volcanoes erupt .

  • A build of pressure in earth is released by things such as plate movements which forces molten rock to explode into the air causing volcanic eruption.

Two advantages of volcanic eruption are:-

  • It gives us really fertile soil, which is great for crops and farming.

  • Volcanoes also provide good environment for the formation of new habitats for animals, plants and insects.

2.A- Hurricanes effect people's lives because they can do so much damage:-

  • Winds can damage houses, trees, and any outdoor property. If the hurricane doesn't destroy where people live then the major flooding after hurricanes might.
  • When homes are destroyed, people may have to rebuild homes and towns.

3.A- Heavy rainfall is the main reason for occurrence of flood. Flooding occurs most commonly from heavy rainfall when natural watercourses do not have the capacity to convey excess water. However, floods are not always caused by heavy rainfall. They can result from other phenomena, such as a tropical cyclone, a tsunami or high tide coinciding with higher than normal river levels.Dam failure, triggered for example by an earthquake, will result in flooding of the downstream area, even in dry weather conditions.

4.A- Causes of forest fire:-

  • increase carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere, contributing to the greenhouse effect and climate change.
  • In addition, ashes destroy much of the nutrients and erode the soil, causing flooding and landslides.
  • Burning Debris
  • Unattended Campfires
  • Equipment Failure or Engine Sparks
  • Cigarettes: It is common for people to throw the cigarette bud on the ground knowing that it is still burning.
  • Fireworks
  • Lightning: can cause wildfires, especially the type of lightning called “hot lightning”, which can last for a relatively long time. When it strikes, it can produce a spark that can set off a forest or a field.
  • Volcanic Eruption: Hot burning lava, from volcanic eruptions, also causes wildfires

Effects of forest fires:-

  • Wildfires take away homes, wildlife, as well as vegetation.
  • The soil in the area of the wildfire has been completely destroyed. The soils in the forest are made with decaying nutrients and debris that have a lot of natural ingredients that help make the earth what it is. When a wildfire hits this soil it becomes too hot and all of those nutrients are gone for good.
  • Animals lose their lives.
  • Too much water in the soil can cause erosion. Firefighters use a great deal of water to put out these vicious wildfires. Too much water in the soil causes it to erode and make it useless.
  • Large amounts of smoke are released into the air which makes it difficult to breathe and also causes air pollution.
  • Unfortunately, some human lives are also lost in wildfires. Typically people who are fighting the fire lose their lives trying to save others.

Hope it helps ;)
