They have prokaryotic cells
They have cell wall, nucleus is not membrane bounded, and have organelles. They are hetrotrophic or autotrophic
As they have different biochemicals activities, same drug does not work against the microbes of different groups. 
Antibiotics kills bacteria by interfering the biochemical activities.
