Cross pollination - Stigma receiving pollen grains from a flower on the same plant or a different plant.
2)Pollination is the transfer of pollen from a male part of a plant to a female part of a plant, later enabling fertilisation and the production of seeds, most often by an animal or by wind.
3) Many number of species are pollinated through cross pollination.
The factors which favour cross pollination are unisexuality, dichogamy, self sterility, mechanical and structural barrier and heterostyly.
