Calcium carbonate does decompose in air when subjected to heat. its is also referred to as calcium carbonate.it is used largely in the production of cement in huge quantities and this has an effect on the atmosphere.the continued emission of carbon dioxide into the air may alter the climate resulting in drastic changes in temperatures.
