(1) Stretch the rubber with both hands and observe the change. Then release the rubber bank one end and see what happens.
2.Put the ice cubes in a glass and leave it in open for 10 -15 minutes and observe what happens.
3.Now put a plastic tray full of water in freezer for half an hour and see what happens.

Answer:

1 . When a rubber band is stretched, work is done on it , in course of which some amount of energy in the form of elastic potential energy (strain energy) is input into it. This increases the potential energy of the system. When the rubber band is released, the potential energy is quickly converted to kinetic energy.

2 Ice cubes solid turns into water liquid, only state changes (physical changes).

3. As the water cools it freezes and expands with a 9% volume increase. This increases the pressure within the container. As the pressure increases, the freezing point decreases. When the water reaches -18 C, the pressure at the freezing is about 180 MPa (thanks to the detailed water phase diagram posted by Mr Medrano). As the water cannot get any colder, there will be an equilibrium point between water and ice, much the same as a (much hotter) container that has steam and water, or any other liquid at equilibrium with its vapor. In the end, the water within the container will be partially frozen, at a pressure of 180 MPa (about 26,500 psi or 1800 atmospheres).

4. As we have taken a glass of water and we add two spoons of sugar in it and we stir it then what we observed it that when we are stirring the amount of sugar gets decreased. It is so because sugar has started dissolving in water.
