@ñswër :

The sum of 2x²- y²- 1 and 1- 2x²- y²

= (2x² -y² -1) + (1- 2x²- y²)

= 2x² -y² - 1 + 1 -2x² - y²

= -2y²

subtract -2y² from (1+y²)

= (1 + y²) - (-2y²)

= 1 +y²+2y²

=1 + 3y²

I hope it will help you.
