Solution :-

we know that,

  • when numerator is greater than denominator, the fraction is called as improper fraction .

so,

→ Science : 5/3 h = 5 > 3 = Improper fraction .

→ Social Science :4/5 h = 4 < 5 = Proper fraction .

→ Languages : 7/9 h = 7 < 9 = Proper fraction .

→ Maths : 11/2 h = 11 > 2 = Improper fraction .

therefore, total two improper fractions are there .

now,

→ Total time suman study in hours = (5/3) + (4/5) + (7/9) + (11/2) = (5*90+4*54+7*30+11*135)/270 = 2361/270 = (787/90) h .

now,

→ Suman total time for social Science = (4/5) h

and,

→ She gave time to study maths = (1/4) of (4/5) = (1/5) h

then,

→ Total time for which she study maths = (1/5) + (11/2) = (2 + 11*5)/10 = (57/10) h

Now,

→ Fraction of total study he do of languages = (7/9) / (787/90) = (7/9) * (90/787) = (70/787)
