Answer:
(1+tan²x) / (1+cot²x)
{now, we know that, 1+ tan²x = sec²x & 1+cot²x = cosec²x}
So,
sec²x/cosec²x
{Now, sec²x = 1/cos²x & cosec²x = 1/sin²x}
(1/cos²x) /(1/sin²x)
sin²x/cos²x
tan²x = RHS
