Answer:
(1 - tanA)^2 + (1 + cotA)^2 = (secA - cosecA) ^2
by L.H.S :
(1 - tanA)^2 + (1 + cotA)^2
1^2 - tan^2 A + 1^2 + cot^2 A
(1 - tan^2 A) + (1 + cot^2 A)
(1 - sec^2 A - 1) + (1 + cosec^2A -1)
(1-1-sec^2A) + (1-1+cosec^2A)
(- sec^2A) + ( cosec^2A)
( cosec^2A - sec^2A) = R.H.S
hence proved
