First of all the question u have asked is wrong the question should be:

(1+tan^2thita)/(cot^2thita+1)

Solution:

L.H.S=(1+tan^2thita)/(cot^2thita+1)

=(Sec^2thita)/(cosec^2thita)

=(Sin^2thita)/(cos^2thita) ((Since,sec^2thita=1/cos^2thita and cosec^2thita=1/sin^2thita,so the numerator and denominator wil interchange.)

=Tan^2thita (Since,tanthita=sinthita/costhita)

=R.H.S

Hence,proved.
