4. no it can't be separated by filtration as particles of salt are very small it can be separated by evaporation instead .

5. first we will separate iron fillings with help of magnet. then dissolve sand and sulphur in CS2 as sulphur dissolves in carbon disulphide. filter sol and then evapourate
