In 1779, a Dutch physician named Jan Ingenhousz discovered that submerged willow sprigs produced oxygen gas only in the presence of sunlight. in 1796, after further research, Ingenhousz was  write the first equation for photosynthesis, which was:
carbon dioxide --->  organic matter + oxygen gas (in presence os sun light)

chemical equation for cellular respiration
C₆H₁₂O₆ + 6O₂ → 6CO₂ + 6H₂O + energy

Balanced equation:
2 NaOH + H2SO4 = Na2SO4 + 2 H2O
