KNOW THE RULES: it is necessary that the referee knows the Inside Out of every rule.

BE PHYSICALLY FIT: today, a referee must be as fit as a regular player, as he is required two wheeler the ball throughout the game.

BE MENTALLY STRONG: apart from physical fitness, a referee needs to be mentally tough. he must be ready to take tough decisions and control the game with an iron hand.

BE IMPARTIAL: this is very important. the referee must never side or seem to side with one team. his decisions must be fair and he must not be intimidated into making the decision.

BE ABLE TO MAKE SPOT DECISIONS: many a time during a game, the referee is called onto make spot decisions. the decision may not always be the correct one, but he must make it and stick by it.

ALLOW THE GAME TO BE PLAYED: a good referee let's the player play the game freely, only interjecting if the game is going too rough. it is important that he shows the players that he is strict, yet fair, right at the beginning of the game.

LOVE THE GAME: it is very important that you love what you are doing. if the referee begins to treat his work as a job, then he will never be successful. he must enjoy what he is doing.

2 TO SAVE WATER
» never throw water down the drain. you can always use it in many ways, like watering a plant or cleaning something.

» do not litter water tape or pipe leak. if a tap is dripping, get up number to repair it immediately.

» about flushing the toilet unnecessarily.
