Answer:

g(x)= 0

x+1=0

x= -1

p(x)= 2×-1+(-1)-2×(-1)-1

= -2-1+2-1

= -2

 \huge \red{answer}

equations p(x) = 2x - x - 2x - 1 and g(x)= x +1

by simplification

2x - x - 2x - 1 =p(x). [ -2x and + 2x cancels out]

- x - 1 = p(x) ----------(1)

now g(x) = x = -1

then by putting value of x in eq 1

-(-1) - 1 = p(x)

1 - 1 = p(x)

0 = p(x)

hope it helps you
