The sum of measures of angles of a triangles is 180 degrees

∴ (x − 40) + (x − 20) + ( \frac{x}{2} − 10)

= 180⁰

 \frac{5x}{2} − 70⁰

= 180⁰

 \frac{5x}{2} = 250⁰

∴ 5x = 500⁰

∴ x = 100⁰
