The sum of measures of angles of a triangles is 180 degrees

∴ (x − 40) + (x − 20) + ($\frac{x}{2}$ − 10)

= 180⁰

∴ $\frac{5x}{2}$ − 70⁰

= 180⁰

∴ $\frac{5x}{2}$ = 250⁰

∴ 5x = 500⁰

∴ x = 100⁰
