1. The area of a parallelogram with base 25 cm and altitude 16 cm is equal to the area of a rhombus whose
diagonal is 40 cm. Find the length of the other diagonal.​

25 x 16=400 because area of a parallelogram is base area x height which is altitude.

area of a rhombus is 1/2diagonal 1 and diagonal 2.

since the areas are the same this is what we do:

1/2 x _ x 40=400.

so the answer is 20 cm.
