Question :

(1) The area of a rectangle is 720 cm². And it's breadth is 45cm. Find it's length and perimeter.

----------------

Before, finding the answer. Let's find out on how we can find the answer.

  • To find the Length of the Rectangle, we must use the formula of :

\sf Length = \dfrac{Area}{Breadth}

where, we have to divide the area by the breadth to find the length

  • And to Find the Perimeter, we must use the formula of :

\boxed{\sf Perimeter \: of \: Rectangle = (2 \times l) + (2 \times b)}

Given :

  • Area = 720 cm²
  • Breadth = 45 cm

To find :

  • Length
  • Perimeter

Solution :

Area of Rectangle = l × b

Length = \sf  \dfrac{Area}{Breadth}

            = \sf  \dfrac{720}{45}

            = 16 cm

∴ Length is 16 cm.

Perimeter of Rectangle = (2 × l) + (2 × b)

                                       = (2 × 16) + (2 × 45)

                                       = 32 + 90

                                       = 122 cm

(2) Name the different angles in the figure.

  • ∠DOC
  • ∠COB
  • ∠BOA

Step-by-step explanation:

(1)

Area of Rectangle = l × b

Length = {Area}/ {Breadth}

= 16 cm

∴ Length is 16 cm.

Perimeter of Rectangle = (2 × l) + (2 × b)

= (2 × 16) + (2 × 45)

= 32 + 90

= 122 cm

(2) Name the different angles in the figure.

∠EOD

∠DOC

∠COB

∠BOA
