Answer:

area of rectangle=l×b

690 = l×b

690=30×b

b=690/30

b=23m

perimeter=2(l+b)

=2×(30+23)

=60+46

=106m

Answer :

›»› The breadth of a rectangular garden is 23 m, and the perimeter of a rectangular garden is 106 m.

Given :

  • Area of a rectangular garden = 690 m².
  • Length of a rectangular garden = 30 m.

To Find :

  • Breadth of a rectangular garden = ?
  • Perimeter of a rectangular garden = ?

Solution :

Let us assume that, the breadth of a rectangular garden is b m.

Garden is in the shape of rectangle. So,

As we know that

→ Area of a rectangle = length * breadth

→ 690 = 30 * b

→ 690 = 30b

→ 690/30 = b

→ 69/3 = b

b = 23

The breadth of a rectangular garden is 23 m.

Now,

As we know that

→ Perimeter of rectangle = 2(length + breadth)

→ Perimeter of rectangle = 2(30 + 23)

→ Perimeter of rectangle = (2 * 30) + (2 * 23)

→ Perimeter of rectangle = 60 + (2 * 23)

→ Perimeter of rectangle = 60 + 46

Perimeter of rectangle = 106

The perimeter of a rectangular garden is 106 m.

Hence, the breadth of a rectangular garden is 23 m, and the perimeter of a rectangular garden is 106 m.
