1) area of a rectangle=l*b=255msq.
15*b=255
b=255/15
=17m
therefore the breadth of the lawn is 17m
perimeter= 2(l+b)
=2(15+17)=2*32=64m
2)area of the square= a^{2} = 18^{2} =324m sq.
area of the rectangular lawn = area of the square
l*b=324
27*b=324
b=324/27=12m
perimeter=2(l+b)
=2(27+12)=2*39=78m

(1)
a= 255m.sq
l= 15m
a= l*b
b= a/l
= 255/15
= 17m

P= 2(l+b)
= 2(15+17)
= 64m

(2)
area of sq = area of rectangle =18×18= 324 m.sq
l= 27m
b= a/l
=324/27
= 36/3
=12m

P= 2(l+b)
=2(27+ 12)
=78m
