Answer

1)

Area of square = side x side = 49

let side be a

a x a = 49

a² = 49

a = √49

a = 7 cm

2)

Anisha need 45 m² carpet to cover the floor.

Because her floor was rectangular shape

so, Area of rectangle = length x breadth

= (9 x 5) m²

= 45 m²

3)

Length is 3 times of breadth and breadth is 10m

so, length of rectangle = (3 x 10)m

= 30m

Area of rectangle = length x breadth

= (30 x 10)m²

= 300m²

4)

Length of rectangle = 12m

Breadth of rectangle = 10m

Area of rectangle = length x breadth

= (12 x 10)m²

= 120m²

Cost of the plot = 120 x 1500

= 180000 rupees
